DIE ANOTHER SECOND
memorize the die. make it count.
A twenty-sided die. Each face holds a number of seconds - 1 through 20, scattered at random. You get one look at all of them. Then the numbers hide, and the face beneath your feet begins to count down.
SURVIVE
The floor is a clock. Only the face you're standing on counts down; every other face keeps exactly what it had, including whatever you left behind. Hop before your seconds run out, then hop again.
Drain a face below half a second and it fades away - but the die still looks whole. That hole is invisible to everyone except you, and only for as long as you remember it.
Two ways to die: let the face beneath you reach zero, or step onto one that isn't there any more.
210 seconds exist on the die. Take as many as you can.
DESCEND
A memory speedrun. Nothing drains, nothing dies. You start on the 20, and then you find 19. Then 18. Then 17, all the way down to 1, purely from what you memorized, while the clock records every second you spend lost.
Counted faces turn solid, so the die slowly solves itself around you.
HOW TO PLAY
